Your spine contains a total of 24 segments, each separated by a disc. The thicker that disc is, the less likely there will be pressure on the joints and the nerves that exit between the vertebrae. The problem is, the discs themselves have no blood supply.

Your spinal discs require motion to pull in nutrients. If your spinal segments are rotated or tilted, they won’t have the mobility needed to keep your disc in good shape. As a chiropractor, Dr. Trenary finds segments in your spine that are misaligned, then adjusts them to keep the discs happy.

Dr. Trenary is well-versed in various chiropractic techniques, such as Gonstead and the Activator® instrument. He utilizes muscle testing, such as Applied Kinesiology. Additionally, if you have low back disc issues, a flexion-distraction table is available to use in your care.
